Whew!

What a whirlwind of posting tonight.  Hope you enjoyed perusing through the finds.  I've lots more to post tomorrow!

SOLD - Lidded Amber Candy Dish - $12

This amber lidded candy dish is made by Anchor Hocking and is in their Fairfield pattern.  The footed bowl stands 4" tall and with the lid on measures 7".
The lid has a beautiful finial style knob.  The light reflects off this so nicely.  There are a few flea bits to the underside of the rim on the lid but nothing that affects the integrity of the piece.
Although it was sold as a candy dish it could be a perfect way to store anything from hair elastics to spare change!

SOLD - Buckle Proof Blue Blade Can Opener - $10

This can opener was made by Henry Squire and Sons in Willenhall, Staffs, England.  The company was founded in 1780 and is still producing goods today!
The piece is in excellent condition, everything is tight and the swing away corkscrew is working nicely.  There doesn't seem to be any significant corrosion or damage to the piece at all.

Vintage Pyrex Teapot - $16

This Pyrex 6-cup teapot is 6" tall and 6" across the widest part of the carafe.  There are 7 gold coloured bands that run horizontally around the carafe.  There is some wear to the gold if you hold it to the light, nothing more than I would expect from regular use.
The lid is plastic with a glass centre and it fits snugly and is in great condition.
Just above the Pyrex name you can see the 6-cup indicator mark.

Another Tea For One - $6

This a second Northland Stoneware Teapot I found.  This one is 4" tall and has a lovely two-tone colour and a shiny glaze.
The pot is in excellent condition, there are no nicks or chips and no crazing.
The bottom reads Northland Stoneware En Gras Japan.  Maybe a collection of tiny teapots where each guest at a tea party gets their own is in order.

SOLD - Foley Aluminum Percolator - $12

This percolator stands just over 7" tall including the top knob.  The markings on the side indicate you can brew 7 cups of coffee in it.
Inside the stem and basket are in very nice condition.  I was told by several people that this is their go-to pot for perfect camp coffee.
Once filled with ground coffee, simply set this down into the water-filled pot and set over the heat.
Perhaps this would be the perfect gift for the outdoors person in your life!

SOLD - Antique Glass Teapot - $16

This glass teapot is SO unique!   The pot itself is ribbed, a silver band hold on the upturned black handle, the lid is ribbed and topped with a cross-hatch pattern on the knob.  The pot is 6" tall and 7.5" at the widest point.
Here you can see the cross pattern on the knob.  The piece is in very nice condition, with just a few signs of wear.
The band and handle are tight and sturdy.
I searched the web and multiple auction and antique sites and couldn't find anything like this.  There are no markings on the glass or band.  If anyone knows anything more about this teapot I would love to add that information.

SOLD - Pink Laundry Hamper - $10

I love this!  I love pink!  If I didn't already own a fabulous pink laundry hamper this would be mine.  This plastic flip-lid hamper is 16" tall and 14" x 11" deep and wide.
The lid flips perfectly and the back of the hamper is vented.  There are no cracks or chips int he plastic and I would say it is in very nice condition.
The front top corner has a silver scroll pattern.  I think this would be perfect for a vintage bathroom or perhaps for a little girl's room.

Tea for One - $6

This tiny teapot stands only 4" tall including the lid and knob!  The bottom is marked Northalnd Mountain Japan.
The pottery and glaze are both in very nice condition with no nicks, cracks or crazing.  A perfect way to have tea for one.

Abenakis Beauceware 14-piece Collection - $100

This collection of Abenakis pottery hails from right here in Canada.  The set includes 14 pieces:  a large coffee/tea pot, a smaller teapot, 4 mugs, a crem and sugar set a covered honey pot, a syrup jug with cork, a set of salt and pepper shakers, a pitcher and a covered butter dish.
Produced in Beauce County, Quebec by Ceramique de Beauce Inc. these pieces are a part of the Abenakis collection.  The company began in 1939 and was open until 1989.  Even when the factory burned to the ground in 1974, they managed to comeback, reopening just one year
Each piece is marked and numbered and features a "woodcut" advertisement from a 19th Century Canadian company.  These are the salt and pepper shakers to the set, they stand just under 3" tall and have their original corks.
The pitcher stands 6" tall and is in excellent condition.  Over the years these pieces have become highly collectable, a nice way to collect Canadiana.
The covered butter dish measures 6.5" across and is just under 3" tall.  This is the only piece with any damage and I have photographed two close-ups to show the mar.  The last two pictures int his album clearly show the chip.
The covered butter dish has a recessed centre.  This, like all of the pieces has a wonderful glossy glaze to it, it reminds me of the Sadler Brown Betty teapots.
This is the larger of the two pots, this one measure 5" tall.
The smaller teapot measures 4" tall.  Both pots are in very nice condition with no nicks or chips to either the pots or lids.
The cream and sugar pair are 3" tall also in perfect condition.
I have listed this piece as a covered honey pot.  This would also bee good for storing tea bags or even sugar cubes.  It measures about 3.5" tall and is very nice condition.
There are four mugs in this 14 piece set.  The mugs feature two different woodcut advertisements and all four are in very nice condition. The mugs are just over 4" tall each.
This is a close-up of one of the mug patterns.
This is the other mug pattern.  Each advertisement features old Canadian Companies from across Canada.
The pieces are all marked on the bottom some with their piece number, some with the Abenakis name, some with Beauce and all with Canada I believe.
The back of each piece features the "Ye Olde Canadian Crock Prints" logo.
Here is the one small bit of damage.  This is on the edge of the butter dish, this picture and the next one show it in as good a detail as I could get.
Here is that second shot of the damage to the edge of the butter dish.

SOLD - Antique Bedroom Lamps - $50/2

These lamps are GORGEOUS! The base measures 5" across and is 1" tall, the housing for the bulb is 2.25" and the glass shade brings the total height to just shy of 12".
The shades are a thick glass with a stepped top and a cobblestone texture on the 8 sides.
The bases are heavy and have small cut outs at the edges for the cord to lay under.
The lamps have a lovely glow to them, they would look wonderful on a piano or sideboard as well as in a bedroom on side tables.

Royal Winton Candle Holder/Dish - $16

Begun in 1885, Grimwades Pottery and later royal Winton have become world famous for their pieces, particularly their chintz patterns. This candle holder dates to the mid 20th century and is in their Venice pattern.
The piece measures almost 9" long and is 3.25" wide. The bottom is stamped with the Royal Winton Grimwades mark.

The inside of the dish is a beautiful iridescent pearl. The outside teal blue and green with a leaf pattern and it also has an iridescent glaze.
The edges of the dishes are trimmed with a gold dotted pattern.
The piece is in almost perfect condition.
